This day is literary only for shopping in the many fashion department stores in Shibuya.  Since the department stores are very close to our hotel, we will be walking or taking a bus around the city.  Shibuya is known as the center for youth fashion and culture, and it’s the best place to go to see the current fashion trends in Japan.  To see the trends, the best place to go is Center Gai which is a pedestrian zone lined with many of the popular stores and fashion boutiques.  Another popular street to view youth styles is Koen Dori (‘Park Street’), which we’ll be going through when heading to Marui.  The last street we will making our way through is Spain Slope, which leads up to Parco department store.  Its lined with many cafes and restaurants, and named after a Spanish street.

The department stores we will go to is Marui Department Store (from Koen Dori), and is one of the most leading fashion retailer focusing on men and women.  Parco is close to Marui, and it's a shopping complex consisting of many branch stores.  The one store I was recommended to go to is Shibuya 109 which contains hundreds of fashion boutiques in its ten story building.  What makes it even better is that every story has hundreds of boutiques that are geared toward a certain style. One floor is for girly, another towards edgy, etc.  Since all our styles are different, we 4 girls will have no problem trying to find something for ourselves
